We are excited to now offer Aquatic Therapy at our Wexford location. Our private therapy pool
was specifically designed to provide patients with a low-impact environment to improve
mobility, strength, balance, recovery, and return to activity.
Aquatic therapy can be beneficial for individuals with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, post-
surgical conditions, neurological diagnoses, balance impairments, and athletes returning to sport
or running.
Using the natural properties of water, aquatic therapy helps decrease stress on joints while
improving movement, strength, endurance, and overall function in a more comfortable
environment.

The underwater treadmill allows patients to walk, jog, and run in a reduced-impact environment
while still maintaining more natural movement patterns. This can be especially helpful for
return-to-run athletes, post-operative patients, pregnant individuals, and patients progressing
back to weight-bearing activity.
